This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use Nova IPTV or Apex IPTV (the "Application"), and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
By using the Application, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
In short: the Application has no accounts and no sign-in. Your playlists, credentials, watch history and favourites stay on your device. We collect usage and crash diagnostics, purchase records needed to restore your Premium access, and — on iPhone and iPad only, and only if you have not purchased Premium — advertising data. We do not sell your personal data.
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
The Application does not require You to create an account with Us, and We do not operate a user account system. Any playlist address, username or password You enter in order to connect to Your own media provider is stored on Your Device and is transmitted only to the provider You have chosen. We do not receive, store or have access to those credentials, and We do not receive the content You play.
We do not ask You to provide personally identifiable information such as Your name, postal address or telephone number, and the Application has no feature that publishes information about You to other users.
Usage Data is collected automatically when You use the Service. It may include the type and model of Your Device, the operating system version, the version and language of the Application, an application-scoped or device-scoped identifier generated by Us or by our Service Providers, the features and screens You use and when, and crash and performance diagnostics. Our Service Providers may also derive approximate region information from Your Device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
When You make an in-app purchase, our subscription Service Provider records the purchase, the selected plan, the transaction status and a device-scoped identifier so that Your Premium access can be recognised and restored. Payment card details are handled entirely by Apple and are never seen by or shared with Us.
If You have not purchased Premium, the Application may display advertisements on iPhone and iPad. Our advertising Service Provider may use Your device advertising identifier and information about the advertisements shown. The Apple TV version of the Application does not display advertisements. Where required, We ask for Your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking takes place, and You can change that choice at any time in Your Device settings.
The Application uses the following Service Providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
The Company may use the data described above for the following purposes:
We may share the data described above in the following situations:
We do not sell Your personal data.
The Company will retain the data described in this Privacy Policy only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out here. We will retain and use data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when it is used to strengthen security or to improve the functionality of the Service, or where We are legally obliged to retain it for longer.
Your information may be processed at the Company's operating locations and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means the information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ from those of Your jurisdiction. The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Because the Application does not operate an account system, most of the data it holds about You is stored on Your Device and is removed when You delete the Application. Playlists, watch history, favourites and settings are stored locally on Your Device.
You may turn off personalised tracking at any time in Your Device settings. You may also contact Us at the address below to ask what data our Service Providers hold in connection with Your Device identifier, and to request its deletion, subject to any legal obligation We have to retain it.
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, such as a court or a government agency.
The Company may disclose Your data in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect and defend the rights or property of the Company, to prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, to protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public, or to protect against legal liability.
The security of Your data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with personal data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
The Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the privacy policy of every site You visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted.
